However, a child will have an inclination towards a particular area too. Some of the students- especially boys who spent a lot of time on tabs- playing these visually and technically advanced games, will show a lack of interest in normal school work as it appears very boring to them. Response is linked to stimuli. The children who have trained themselves to such stimuli that pleases them will not respond to usual tasks- it appears mundane to them. (Conditioned response)
Parental intervention is much needed by enlightening parents right from the beginning to watch out what as to what their children are engaging in at home too. Children sitting silently with their tabs is sometimes welcome at home as it is convenient to parents too. So, training and counselling starts with parents is my opinion from experience.
