In 1613, Portuguese ships annhilated Singapore. In attract such a large -scale assualt , it can be deducted that Singapore was a settlement og some sig-nification at that time. This attack reportedly drove away the remaining islanders.
For the next 200 years, Singapore remained largely uninhabited. The Sultan of Johor  offered Singapore to a private English merchant, John Hamilton, round 1700,but he re-jected the offer as inappropriate for an individual. Hamilton did, however think that Sing-apore would make a good choice for an East India Company station. It was not until over 100 years later that his estimate of Singapore's potential was proven to be correct.

      Today during history lesson I had learnt something very interesting.
     Firstly I learnt about political connection. I have research that Singapore before 1819 they have a political connection with the Majapahit kingdom because the island of readiness under the protection of Majapahit kingdom in the 14 century. I also found out that Singapore before 1819 that also have another political connection with the Portugal because during the 1819 Singapore used to fight with the portuhuses.
      Secondly, I found out that Singapore before 1819 they have economic connection with the the China because in the 1819 China traded with Singapore the coin. I also know that Singapore has another  economic connection with the Hindu and Javanese as they traded the goldarmlet with singapore.
Thirdly, I found out how Singapore before 1819 travel. During my research found out that they travel using boat in the 1819. 
    After my research i think that I have better understanding of what had happened or how they travel in the 1819. I have come to the end of my dairy and it was really nice telling u what have happened today in history lesson.
