Helmuth believes that "he has lived a life that stood for something." Why do you think he can live with himself even though he knows that he is about to be executed? Does the title of the novel connect well to the events that took place in the story? Why or why not?

A lot of people do not fear death people know were going to die its the one true thing we know for certain, but what we do fear what lots of people fear is not dying but never having lived at all. Living a life that meant nothing is worse than dying so when helmuth died he didn’t mind his own death he knew it was coming but he can die knowing he did something about nazis he didn't let them control him he wasn't another mindless soldier fighting a lost war he was apart of a resistance he fought for what he believed in, what he knew was right so dieing wasn't a bad thing he accomplished what he felt his purpose was on this world.

He was able to spread the truth, which no one else was brave enough to do. The title of the novel does connect to the story. Not many people had the courage to stand up to the government at that time, but Helmuth sacrificed his well being so others could know the truth, so he really was "The Boy Who Dared."

He had a good life because he tried to get human rights, and everything back, and so he did all what he wanted to. I think that the title really well represents the story because Helmuth was a boy who dared. He did a lot of things that could of helped Germany, but Hitler took them the wrong way, so he never did anything to help Germany. He tried mostly everything before they caught him.

I think he can live with himself knowing he is about to be executed because he knows he didn't waste his life he lived his hort life to the fullest and made sure it ment something. He is ready to meet God and enter the next life knowing what he did was the right thing and he risked his lifw for everyone elses. Yes, the title connectes with the book perfectly becuase the whole book is literally about him dareing to speak out againsted the government trying to make a difference and in the end he did it.

I think Helmuth can live with himself even though he knows he is about to be executed because he was able to achieve a goal that he made for himself. He was able to spread the word that the German's were lying to them, and that they weren't always winning. I think the title is right in between super vague and right on the nose. The reason why is because the title tells you somebody is going to do something wrong, but they don't tell you exactly what they do.

I think Helmuth can live with himself because in the end he knew he was doing the right thing. Helmuth believed that his dad would have understood why he did what he did. Helmuth's life did stand for something if he was given a memorial and changed some of his friends or family's thoughts/lives. The title of the novel connects becasue Helmuth went out and was trying to change Germany to get a message out there. Although he wasn't actually dared to spread pamphlets. He went against the law knowing that and doing it anyways.

Germany was falling slowly, and Helmuth tried to get that news out to people so that they know the truth about Germany.
