Objective: The child who has the handkerchief must leave it behind someone and have time to make a full circle before they are caught.

How to play:

1. The Circle: All the children squat on the floor forming a large circle and face the center.

2. The "Chaser": We choose a child to start the game. This child holds the handkerchief and stands outside the circle.

3. The Route: The hunter begins to walk rhythmically around the circle, while the other children sing a song and clap their hands. Attention: Children who are sitting are forbidden to turn around to look behind them! The song they sing is: “The handkerchief has passed and the girl looks for it and goes on.”

4. The Drop: At some point, the hunter silently leaves the handkerchief behind a child’s back and continues walking normally.

5. The Chase: As soon as the child sitting realizes that the handkerchief is behind him, he grabs it and quickly stands up and starts chasing the first player around the circle. If the first player manages to make the circle and sit in the other child's empty seat, he is saved. If the child with the handkerchief catches up with him and touches him, then the first player is out of the game.

"Tzami" is one of the most beloved traditional group street games, combining aim, speed, and strategy. It is typically played in open spaces with two teams.

Equipment

• 7 flat stones (or roof tiles) of different sizes.

• A lightweight plastic ball.

How to Play

The Setup The stones are placed one on top of the other, from largest to smallest, to form a small tower (the "tzami").

The Throw

• The players are divided into "attackers" and "defenders".

• A player from the attacking team stands at a distance and throws the ball, attempting to knock down the tower.

The Chase

• If the tower falls, the defending team takes the ball and tries to "burn" (hit) the opponents with it.

• At the same time, the attackers try to rebuild the tower by placing the stones in the correct order without being hit by the ball.

Victory

• If the attackers manage to rebuild the tower and shout "Tzami!", they win the round.

• If the defending team "burns" all the players before the tower is completed, the roles are reversed.

Hopscotch can be played individually or in a group. The player who starts the game is determined by a coin toss. The player who wins the coin toss throws the hopscotch stone into area number 1, then jumps to area number 2. Then, they jump to the other areas in order of number. They step on areas 4-5 and 7-8 with both feet. The player hops back, picks up their stone, and moves to the next area. They finish the game by throwing stones into all the empty spaces in turn. When the hopscotch stone lands on a line or the player steps on a line, the turn passes to the next player. The game continues in this way by throwing the hopscotch stone into areas 2, 3, and 4.
