Then I must find the cost of this ticket.

I will be starting my travels on Thursday the 6th of April 2017 departing on Qantas airlines from Launceston Airport and arriving in Melbourne Airport. Then I will be departing from Melbourne Airport on Qantus airlines arriving at Narita International Airport in Tokyo. I will be in Tokyo in the evening of Thursday the 6th of April 2017. I will be leaving Tokyo on Sunday 16th of April 2017 departing on Qantas airlines from Narita International Airport and arriving in Melbourne Airport. Then I will be flying out of Melbourne in Qantus airlines to Launceston Airport. I will be arriving in Launceston on Monday the 17th of April 2017. In all my flights I am in economy seating. The total airfare cost including the booking fee is $1,894.87.

I chose Qantus as my airline because in this ticket, Qantus will be providing me the quickest flight time with not many stops and it is also averagly priced considering the fact there are not a lot of stops delaying the flight. I have also travelled a lot overseas and have been on many different airlines. I have experienced a few flights aboard Qantus airlines and had a great time.

I also need to find out if I need a visa to go to Japan.

To organise to get a passport you have to first, fill in an application form and confiem that you are an Australian citizen. Then you have to have 2 photos taken in colour of your face. After this you have to present your application for a passport in person and pay a fee. You do not need a visa to go to Japan unless you are planning to live there.

The experience of receiving and applying for a passport is a very familiar one for me. I have had to renew my passport and I still remember I had to have my photo taken one evening after school. That day I had been doing swimming with the school's swimming program. I had a few chlorine burns on my face and I was not allowed to smile in my photo. It had been an aliright experience, though I found it hard to put up a serious face and not smile for my photos.

Woohoo! That's done! What's next?

One of the places I wish to see and visit in Tokyo is the Tokyo DisneySea. I expect to see many wonderful Disney movie animations in 3D form. That would be a wonderful experience. I hope to be able to go on many rides in the park, such as the Venetian Gondolas. In this ride it is said to be relaxing while watching the scenary go by as you ride along the water. I have always wanted and still want to visit an amusement park and go on lots of rides. When I was little I went to an amusement park but I can not remember any of it. So that is why I want to go to the Tokyo DisneySea.

The second place I want to visit in Tokyo is the Toshimaen Amusement Park. There I expect to experience, see and visit the different water rides and activities such as in the water park section which holds all different types of waterslides and pools. I hope to be able to participate and play on multiple waterslides and cool off in a nice, warm pool. I wish to ride on the highest waterslide there that is 22 metres above the ground. I have never been on a waterslide before so that is why I want to visit this place in Tokyo and have a chance to experience the thrill and excitement wooshing down the slide.

The final place I hope to see and visit in Tokyo is the Samurai Museum. I expect to see many things about the ancient samurai warriors. I hope to see many ancient samurai armour and weapons at the museum. I hope to learn many new things and extend my knowledge about the samurai. I have always been fascinated with warriors and wish to learn about the samurai warriors that is why I want to visit the Samurai Museum.

In Japan, in April, the season is Spring. In April, the average minimum temperature in Tokyo is 11°C. The average maximum temperature in Tokyo is 19°C.

I can't wait to go because it is said Spring time is the best time to visit Japan because of all the beautiful blossoming trees like the cherry blossom tree. I do not think that I have seen a real life cherry blossom tree before, only in pictures, so I would love to see the tiny, pretty flowers blossoming on the trees.

We are ahead, in time differences, by 2 hours. It can change my bedtime for the first few days because I have to get used to the differences in time. So, after a few days of acclimating to Japan's time, I will get used to it and therefore my bedtime would not be changed.

I have personal experience in adjusting to different time zones. In the beggining, the first few days after the arrival into a country (other than Japan), I would be falling asleep really early according to the foreign countries time but in Australian time, it would be normal.

One of the Japanese food dishes I would love to try would be Ramen. Ramen is a salty broth with egg noodles in it. It is said to be one of Japan's favourite late evening meals. I would love to try Ramen because I love noodle dishes and I am eager to try their style of an egg noodle and broth dish. Yummy!

The second Japanese food dish I would like to taste is Unagi. Unagi is made of charcoal grilled reiver eel covered with sweet barbecue sauce. It is an old Japan delicacy and according to folklore, is the remedy to the humidity and heat of Japan summers. I would love to try Unagi because I have been wondering what eel would taste like and because I am going to Japan I would have the oppurtunity to solve that wonder.

The last Japanese food dish I would love to try is Tonkatsu. Tonkatsu is a dish that goes way back to the 19th Century and is made of deep-fried, breaded pork cutlet. Tonkatsu is said to be melt-in-your-mouth tender. Tonkatsu is also served with miso soup and shredded cabbage as a side. I would love to taste Tonkatsu because I love eating pork. I especially love eating pork cutlets and I would like to taste a Japanese styled pork cutlet that is melt-in-your-mouth tender!! I would also like to see if the miso soup and cabbage would compliment the pork.

A present I would like to bring back from Japan to give to my friend would be a furin. The Japanese meanaing of furin is fu, meaning wind and rin, meaning bell. Furin are normally used in Summer in Japan because the Japanese people find the sound of the bell refreshing. A furin would normally cost between 350 to 2500 Japanese Yen or in Australian Dollars,  between $4.05 to $28.95.

I would love to give this as a present to my friend because I love the look and style of the little wind chime, furin and would like to hear a nice, refreshing sound notifying the breeze.

For the question, words I can see that I recognise and words I can see in English, I have multiple photos in the post to the left of this one. I will be using those photos as my reference when answering those two questions. I will be answering the first two questions together.

In the photos to your left I can see and recognise quite a few words (to get a clearer and more close-up version of the photos click the picture) in English. In the photos I can see words in English and recognise the words, drink, Coca-Cola, fire, Kirin, McDonald's, No.1, Shop, iPhone4 and 30000.

I think there would be words in English in Japan for multiple reasons. One of the reasons is the fact that, if there were English word(s) in an ad it could be because the actual brand or product is an English word. When advertising that said product you have to anounce the brand and therefore, you could be advertising in Japan so there would be English in Japan. 

Another reason for there to be English in Japan is that English is one of the most commonly used languages all over the world. That is why you may see English in Japan because many people can understand it.

The final reason I can think of, at the moment, about why there is English in Japan is because you could be trying to write or describe something in Japanese but there is no Japanese word that will fit the category so you write or describe it in English.

Differences
I have learnt that in Japan, Spring is in the months March, April and May but in Australia Spring is in September, October and November.

I have learnt that in Japan there are many temples and shrines all around the country used for worship to gods and for touring.

Similarities
I have learnt that in both Japan and Australia there are many amusement parks, waterslides and parks. Though, there are very different varieties of rides and activities in the amusement parks in Japan and Australia.
