These images will be all the same size and look pretty similar. I havechosen to this to give the page a sense of unity and organisation.

My entire double page spread will be framed by a border colnsiting of the colours red and blue. With in this border I will have my article which will be separated into 5 different columns. Rather than having one large dominant image taking up one page, I have decided to use 3 sub images instead as it fits my article subject matter better and will present a sense of uniqueness to the pages. In the top left hand corner of the left page, I am placing my article title which will span across the entire left side page. Below this I am going to feature the strapline/introduction to the article. In the bottom left hand corners of each side I am placing essential information such as: date, issue and webiste. This will be in very small font so that it doesnt draw away too much attention but is still available to the audience. At the end of the article I will feature a by line and social media details. Finally in the bottom right hand corner of the right page I am going to have an additional feature which will add diversity to my page and allow the audience to see something different.

Colour Scheme

The colour scheme of my magazine double page spread will be the same as all of my other products, including the ancillary ones. This is because I want to have a sense of synergy and convergence throughout my brand and its products. The main colours I will be using for background etc are white and blue however I am incorporating red and black into the colour scheme in order to provide contrast and to allow certain aspects of the page o stand out. These colours also represent the North East successfully which will give the magazine an extra element of regional familiarization.

Much like the fonts on the front cover and contents page, my double page spread fonts will vary. I plan to reuse some of the fonts that appear both on my front cover and contents page as this will promote synergy and convergence on the pages. In addition to this it will restrict the chances of the page becoming cluttered or overbaring. The fonts I plan to use are: bold cursive, bold, block style and plain/simplistic. as well as these fonts I will also have to incorperate a new nad unique font for my article title. This will most likely be a bold text once again as it needs to be attention grabbing

For the double page spread, in terms of language and register, I am using the same techniques as on the front cover and contents page. I dont plan on using colloquial and informal language to try and attract or relate to the north east students I am targeting. This is because I think that this would look unprofessional and would therefore restrict the potential audience. Instead, to attract my target audeince I plan to create direct mode of address by using "you" which will create a connection between audince and magazine.

Once again, I dont plan to have much going on in terms of mise en scene as the background, i tend to have, will be plain white. I have chosen a white background as I think it will make the magazine bright and reduce the risk of the page looking too clutered or confined. Possibly, I may add some form of desgin to the background that related to the article.
