Grime originates from black culture and is a form of self expression. 'Made in the streets, for the streets', and for the young black community to speak out about their experiences. This is the reason grime has a reputation of being aggressive and political.

I have chosen a closed back window so all people can see when walking past is the over the top window. Hopefully they find the window so interesting they come into the store and have a look.
I wanted the window to be quite minimal by whats in it. I wanted Molly's signature style, the oversized tulle dress to be the main attraction, so i think it looks effective by just having the dress in the window.
I also went for a headless mannequin, as i felt having a normal mannequin with hair might be a bit too much, this way, all the attention goes to the incredible dress. The back and the sides of the window will be covered in coloured tulle curtains. These curtains will be made with the off-cuts of Molly's tulle dresses, therefore, no material goes to waste!
