As days passes I discover new interesting ways to deliver my lessons with the maximum use of technology.  
By reaching the end of the term I would know what areas I should improve to be better and better next time like: time management, more strict deadlines For students, more interacting ways for activities.

Also it was highly beneficial for the students as learning never stopped for them in this difficult situations. Initially though there was quite little starting troubles to become familiar with the different platform but gradually with the enormous and effective training and guidance by the Ministry of Education all the issues were resolved smoothly. The most important part of this whole experience was that I felt connected and engaged throughout also the active participation of many students who otherwise are little shy, they came up in the forefront and were constantly active learners. Provided the situations to do it once again, I will be happy to be part of this distance learning environment. However, we (students & teachers) grew with each passing day until we started enjoying this new change..
Classes turned into interactive sessions, with learning being more long-lasting.

I am so thankful to the Principal and the entire admin team for all the support and encouragement time and again.
Also the MOE for providing us with these platforms which made both teaching and learning FUN..!!

طالباتي الرائعات و الطيبات ساهمن في تقدم سير الدرس بتعاونهنّ واستعدادهنّ للتعلّم ورغبتهنّ فيه..
تجربة بقدر ما كانت بعيدة ماديا عن الطالبات والأسرة التربوية الا أنها لم تمنع قربا معنويّا لمسناه من الجميع.
شكرا لكل الأسرة التربوية التي عوضتني في غربتي وملأت فراغا بداخلي، شكرا لكل بناتي طالباتي الغاليات، وأرجو ان نلتقي من جديد في مدرسة مدينة بني ياس وقد تخلصنا من هذا البلاء بإذن الله تعالى.

Distance learning experience was a completely new experience for me as I am a new teacher. It went much more smoothly than I thought. I realized that teaching online gives us all the opportunity to be more creative. Different platforms help in creating interesting quizzes and games that motivate students to participate during classes and at the same time make the lesson more interesting and competitive. Some platforms (Nearpod, kahoot!, padlet) were quite useful and interactive, even for students who are shy to say their opinion out loud. Overall, I enjoyed this experience and I am ready to repeat it again as day by day I was discovering new platforms/programs to use. However, there were a few challenges during this journey. The first difficulty was, the communication barrier between the teacher and the absentees. It took a lot of time and efforts to reach absentees and ask them to finish their pending Checkpoints/exams. Another challenge was tracing the authenticity of the students' answers in their checkpoints/exams as some students had a very high difference of scores between different checkpoints. The last but not the least, was any technical issue that might occur during a lesson like: low internet connection or platforms (lms) hanging sometimes. However, I am very grateful to Ms.Alsaad, my lead teacher, my colleagues and all the school team for their continuous support. Lucky to be working with you all.

We both learn new things and use new platform for learning. The journey starts with alot of confusion and difficulty at the initial stage from both ends and gradually ended up with a good experience. Students were more motivated towards learning being in their most comfortable state at home. Hesitation to speak in a class would no longer be a barrier to them. Students who thought chatting, being late in class were the coolest thing for them ,they proved themselves to be the most hard working and sincere. With the help and encouragement of most respectable and dearest principal, admin staff and colleagues trimester-3 took a beautiful and peaceful end.
Overall , it was great experience for me. Thank you for giving this opportunity to me.

Of course , certain struggling were there such as absents of numerous children and lack of proper way of interaction especially with the students who hesitate to talk publicly . But the support from Our Principal and Admin staffs were encouraged me to overcome from these  issues easily.
 Its my pleasure to mentioned ,the level of E-Maturity has improved a lot in me with my children. As a community , we could explore about  various digital platforms. 
Overall it was a great experience for me.

There were pros and cons throughout the process. It was exciting to try different technologies and platforms to keep the girls interested, engaged and motivated. However, planning these engaging lessons were very time consuming. Regardless, when you see progress from the girls at the end then it makes it all worth it. I would definitely continue to use distance learning. Unfortunatel , I am a physically affectionate person and not being able to physically see my girls and talk to them personally was the biggest challenge professionally, academically and personally.

تعلمنا الدقة بالوقت وصولا الثانية 
اقتربنا من أولياء الأمور ,لحد أن جزءا من تعليمنا توجه إليهم ،وشاركونا الكثير من المعلومات وتبادلنا التوجيهات . 
أحببنا الجميع ؛ فكلنا سواء بهذا التحدي : تحدي الأزمة وتحدي التعلم عن بعد.

It took some time to adjust on how things should be but once I figured out what worked for me, my creative juices started flowing. Distance learning gave me the opportunity to use different platforms to showcase students' understanding,  engage them in the lesson and go beyond the textbook to develop their thinking. Distance learning also gave me blocked periods so I was able to extend the lesson and check for understanding throughout! 

Even though we enjoyed it, there were some challenges that came with it. Some of the challenges were students’ attendance, technology issues( Alef had many platforms blocked) and the lack of computer skills from many of the girls.  Ms. Alsaad, grade level supervisors, Ms. Barrah and other students were great supporters in helping to overcome these challenges.  

I look forward to some form of distance learning in the next school year!

From a personal perspective as a new teacher, I gained alot from my first year. It is somehow  challenging for some. Dealing with technology and trying to cope with the required work, communicating with the students, and the massive number of lessons that should be finished in short time. But, the experience wouldn’t be successful without the support of the administrative team, our students and teachers.

We learned to use technologies in varied methods to create interesting and interactive Math classes. Group activities, Student-Teacher activities, and Task performances were all done exceptionally well in distance learning. In Advance class, students participation was very impressive and encouraging to implement innovative methods in teaching and monitoring their work progress. In general classes, students showed up good improvement in learning Math skills which was very positive to work further. MSteams, Geogebra, Desmos, MsForms, classkick, quizizz, kahoot, LMS, ALEKS,etc enhanced our teaching and learning experiences.
