Exposition: introduces the main characters and the setting of the story and sometimes the conflict.

Rising Action:The events that build up to the Climax and where the protagonist and the antagonist usually have a conflict.

Climax: Main problem in the story and the most exciting point in the story.

Falling Action: Where the story calms down and questions are answered and the rest of the story comes together.

Resolution: Where the conflict or problem in the story is solved.

Conflict: events that cause the rest of the story to happen.

-Rising Action-  Has events to help build up the plot so it can carry the story to the climax. Most of the exiting things happen. The main conflict is starting to be revealed.

-Climax- The main problem of the story. It is usually the part of the story where you don't believe something just happened.

-Falling action-  When the story starts to wrap up the climax. Nothing new really happens.

-Resolution- When the story ends and wraps up the conflict.
