For example the temperature in different areas can differ greatly which means whether you like a warmer climate of a colder climate you can have either one. Also land formation can greatly affect where humans live. The physical shape of an area can be altered by plate tectonics, which can disrupt rivers changing the availability of water, the rock cycle changes the land over time and rising waters, which is happening pretty quick. All these things can displace us over time and maybe the land will have lots to offer in the beginning and then later it has changed and provides nothing for us. Now these things all can affect where we live. Up in the mountains it is much colder and lots more snow, so for the Canadians who love skiing that is where you will probably find them. Now over many years mountains can pop up where ever two tectonic plates meet and could affect the people who lived their before but might attract new people. 

Now up north where most First Nation people live there are some glaciers and glaciers can move down hills slowly and affect anything in its path, so if there is a settlement in its path they might have to consider relocating. These are all examples on how landforms of Canada affect where we live.

-For example the climate and soil are perfect in the prairies for farming meaning farmers would live in the prairie provinces. 

-The Climate and vegetation in southern Ontario is great for summer people because there is also the Great Lakes for swimming. 

-Lastly the climate, soil and, vegetation in the north is great for all the winter animals that live up there like bears, caribou and lynx which would attract hunters to those areas.

-Toronto is on Lake Ontario where there are no boundary lines and low possibility of a tsunami so people cannot be affected by huge waves of water. Toronto is located on the North American Plate.

There are no mountains or any big landforms in Toronto, the land is mostly flat. That is why it is a good place for a city,  so there aren't any landforms affecting the citizens

-The Climate in Toronto can affect people becuase like most places in Canada there are hot summers and cold winters. In Toronto There are heat waves, Blizzards, rain, snow, just about everything can happen in one year, and all these things can affect the citizens.

There is not much natural vegetation that can even affect people in Toronto because it is a city and most of the vegetation was probably planted by the city.

- For example up in Nunavut it is very difficult to live for most Canadians even though we are used to the snow. Days are very cold and short, but the Native people have lived there for many generations, perfecting their ways to live in that type of environment. Essentially this environment affects where most Canadians would live, and most chose to live in the South 

-Plate Tectonics can alter the land and forms it, The only place a plate could change the land would be in BC. But long ago plate tectonics, the rock cycle and the weathering shaped the Canada we have now. over time these things affect where Canadians live by altering the landscape.

-Canadians need to live by fresh water resources and fertile land, so for example you couldn't live on the peak of a mountain, we would live in the valleys or the prairies for access to these essentials

-Up north there are glaciers and First Nation people usually inhabit places up North so if there is a settlement on or at the base of a mountain then a glacier could affect them. Glaciers move down mountains slowly and affects anything in its path. settlements in its path might have to consider relocating, affecting where they would live.
