I chose these notes because it would sound better than a flat note as nemo is a bright/happy character

2. I think I played well as I practiced beforehand but some parts I missed the string, overall I was able to play well.

Today I warmed up by practicing the first part of the song(Congratulations by Mac Miller) that I know well and can play well, and focused on being able to play from the beginning-end of bridge smoothly. I practiced for about 30 minutes using youtube and next time I want to make the first part-beginning of bridge perfect

my warm up for today was just practicing the rythme that I already know and used youtube to learn it. I practiced for about 20 minutes and next time I'm going to try and make it sound more clear

our groups goal today is to continue to practice our own parts and at the end put it all together and hope to be able to at least the intro good. Today I practiced the bridge part of the song which is most challenging for me and my goal is to be able to play this part more smoothly and faster with less mistakes.

When we practice together in a small bnd, we need good social skills and communication because in order to put our individual parts together we have to practice together as well, and tell each other which parts we can improve. I think I should work on self management by practicing more in my own freetime.

At first I struggled in getting best rythme for the song and to get over this I slowed down the tutorial videos to be able to get the rythme right.

1) Have you changed the length of the song? If so, how did you change it? And Why did you change it? We made the song shorter and did a certain part which is about 1:35 minutes because the whole song is 10 minutes so we had to make it shorter.
2) How have you changed the song to match your groups' (or your own individual) skill level? We made the melody and the drum beats more simple to match my skill level and others
3) What challenges have you encountered in your arrangement process, and how have you addressed them? We struggled with playing together and matching each others speed, and we practiced together multiple times to match eachother.

I changed the drum beats and two people are playing the piano for the base and the main melody

I improved on making te intro-chorus smoother, next time I want to make the outro part more smooth and have good flow

• I kept the beat steady and didn't slow down or speed up. I was also keeping the drum's volume at a good level so that I don't play too loud and cover the other instruments sounds.

• We were all in sync and were able to adjust to each others' speed and volume.
  3) How did you collaborate with your group? What worked and what needed improvement?

• We practiced many times together, and also spent time practicing individually before so that we are able to practice our synchronization with minor mistakes
  4) IF you had to work with your group to arrange/rehearse/perform a new (another) song, what would you do differently?

• I would try to spend more time to practice individually so that there are no mistakes, same for the other group members. This would enhance the overall quality of the song.

today i practiced verse 1 of our song "Happy Summer" which we have to perform next week.

I practiced for about 20 minutes and perfected the part with no mistakes, next time I will try to make that part have more accents by pressing the keys harder on some parts. I will continue practicing the next parts of the song as well

  I was nervous but I got all of the notes right, and I sang at an adequate volume.

• What is at least one thing you would have liked to improve for next time or differently for next time?

  To improve, I will sing louder

• Choose one other G8 band performance from that evening. What are some specific thoughts you have about that performance?

  I really liked Risha's performance because the melody was nice and they were all singing

• Which ATL skills did you develop in order throughout this unit to play successfully?

  I improved in communication and was able to collaborate well with my group to create a very catchy, bright song!
