How they still had a small amount of leisure time and how they tried to rebel, even when they only got punished for it.

2. I'm still wondering if some of the slaves ever truly made it back to their home in Africa, or if after they were freed they stayed.

I didn't know that they got free times, and I didn't know that they weren't allowed to get married. I had just looked at slaves like they just got tortured all the time, and they worked. However, this hyperdoc showed me all the details about their lives.

2. I am still wondering where the slaves would go after they got freed. I wonder if they try to find their families, or if they just start over in life.

The most important thing that I learned from this HyperDoc was the risk that the slaves took to even have the slightest chance of not getting caught when they chose to rebel. Even if they had a 99% fail rate, they still tried it and hoped for the best.
2. I am still wondering how hard the slaves were beaten/hurt, Did the slave owner beat them hard, but not to death? I am wondering this because slaves used to cost a lot of money and people would want to kill their slaves, but a lot of the owners were very cruel.

I learned how slavery played a part in our country, how it was involved in our economy and society. It just shows how involved with slavery we were. Our country considered anyone who wasn't white, to be less than those who were white. We captured people from their homes and brought them here to treat them like animals and objects to be used at our disposal. It was horrible. Its crazy to think that this was only a couple hundred years ago. When you look at the time span of history, that is not that long ago.
2. The thing I am wondering about slavery is the Underground railroad and what the complete process of that was. I want to learn more about that.
