         <description><![CDATA[<p>Academic research is out of intellectual curiosity and with the aim of gaining knowledge. It can be traded as a commodity to enhance economic development. It is a formal research. Example: examining the impact of social media on mental health.</p><p><br></p><p>Non -academic research are driven by external forces. It is more of an informal research driven by personal opinions.          <title>Criterion on EE</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Each criterion has 7 steps.</p><p>For criterion A-(focus and method): The research question should be something that can be done by a student and durable in the lab or at home. Some are primary and some are secondary research (which should be mention in the EE). Some subject requires a wild bibliography. A student should be able to analyze and is possible to do. The research question needs to be focused (better if it was tooo focused)</p><p><br/></p><p>For criterion B-(knowledge and understanding): Your syllabus should be linked with the research question. Context and concepts should be clear.</p><p><br/></p><p>For criterion C-(critical thinking): All about analysis, research and development. You need to be able to accurately research for the result of the research question. Analysis is answering the research question. So criterion C is all about the way you answer the question</p><p><br/></p><p>For criterion D-(presentation): The structure and layout of your EE. Should be within 4000 words not less than 3000. Layout as in spacing and organization of the research paper. If you get a 4/4 in this criterion, then you have almost 12% of your grade. There is a low chance to lose marks in this criterion.</p><p><br/></p><p>For criterion E-(engagement): It’s all about reflection, research focus, and process. There is an interview done when you finish your EE. The first step in reflection is when you select the subject and complete the outline of the EE. There are 3 reflection steps. So it’s all about the reflection in this criterion.</p>]]></description>
