I think it is important to look at it through the simple lens of moving forward vs. moving back... the term accelerate implies moving forward, the term remediation implies moving backwards or repeating.

I love how this framework promotes moving forward instead of dwelling on learning loss through a remediation lens. This seems very attainable and optimistic- I'm sure students will tap into that energy as they return to the classroom
