This is a weekly Checklist Used by teacher to see how their children in their class are doing each week. The benefits with this checklist are that every week you are able to do this checklist on each child and see what the children are growing in and what they may need more help in. The disadvantages of this kind of checklist. Is that Sometimes teacher may not be able to do one of these each week. Or that one of the students gets a hold of the papers and thinks its paper they can do their art on.

Above is a rubric. This is something that helps you asses' children. Depending on the age group the Rubric changes. For me I use to teach 2-year-old before I became the assistant director. I would use these in my class when I would sit at the table and have the children start cleaning up the room I would watch them closely to see how they were putting things away if they were just throwing things across the room things like that. I would always watch threw out the day to see if they would follow my daily schedule that i had i made sure that we did the same routine every day so the kids would get on a schedule and know how the classroom was ran every day. The Rubric worked very well in my classroom, and I would recommend it to anyone who asked about it.

Rating Scale

This is the Rating scale we use at my Childcare Center this is the biggest rating scale that we use. Environment scale is very good in a daycare. when doing a rating scale for a child in your class it helps you with everyday life of knowing how to run your classroom. Change your environment classroom to something that works with your children in your class. while this is a good rating scale it can also be hard. Something that works for one child may not work for another. So, you always have to try and Accommodate for each child and sometimes that can be hard.
