Recived an email from the hydro and they are intrested in the show have sent another emailing explaing more details. Waiting for a response.

Wrote a list of props and costumes that will be needed for the shoot

Day Of Shoot

After arriving with the props I was told by the director that the lighter that I had purchased was no longer going to be used as he didn't want to recreate the scene with fake smoking so he decided to cut the scene completely this was told to me after buying the lighter which felt completely useless now as it wasn't going to be used. Also in one of the shots, there are pillows visible in the background i suggested moving them as they looked very out of place and did not fit the scene the director then said that they made the wall look patterned and that was how he wanted it later after reviewing the footage I couldn't help but notice how out of place they looked and how they did not fit the scene at all.

had our rehearsal for the show and was able to create a lighting plot

Finished draft of script found writer duet confusing at first but quickly got the hang of it

Pitched script using an elevator pitch format

Completed abstract with all 10 sources

Completed essay with a word count of just under 1500 words

struggled with Harvard referencing and the general tone of the essay, I feel like an example one should have been shown.

Created a list of possible cottages to be used for the shoot and sent it to the director. Waitin gon a response to see which one they like the most

Booked an airbnb for the first week of shooting. Discussed with the crew a possible budget for the production and how much was eberyone willing to chip in we all agreed on £50 each. The BnB cost us around £150.

started to scout for a location for the second week we needed a tree for alot of scenes i suggested to film in glasgow green as it was in the city so it was easily accessible. some of the crew disagreed and would have rather filmed in bearsden.

set up the equipment in college and set up a scene to see how it will be done on the day

Started the sound edit. when reviewing the footage when starting the edit it became very obvious fast that the qaulity of sound was not great this showed my first challenge. On the first day i was able to seperate all the dialogue.

Finished the sound edit during the process of the sound edit i had to find alot of sound effect and music to fit the tone of the film which i enjoyed doing. I found the only struggle to be the poor qaulity recording of the sound which made it a bit more diffcult to edit

Started edit using davinci resolve, had not filmed extra footage yet for the edit.

Finished the edit, spent around 6 hours editing

Filmed extra footage using the Black magic pocket cinema, and the cannon 6D

started and finished the treatemnt as the edit went on i decieded to change the genreal ide aof the edit making it a more solid idea
