How do seasons happen? How is earth tilted on its axis during the seasons?

The earth's tilted axis is what makes the season happen. Different parts of earth receive the sun's most direct rays. The earth's axis is always pointed in the same direction, that's why different parts of earth get direct sunlight throughout the year. An example would be when the North Pole tilts toward the sun, in the Northern Hemisphere is summer. And the South Hemisphere is the opposite.
