July 20, 1969
I am finally able to walk on the Surface of the moon, the ground is soft and cushiony. I can see Earth from where I am standing, it is 4 times larger than the full moon on Earth. The surface is so barren, there is no sign of life anywhere, every step leaves a foot print, and the dust is so fine that is gets allover mine and Neil's suits, it is so hard to get off. Since the gravity on the moon gravity is about 1/6th of Earth's gravity we are almost weightless. There is a certain freedom that is so stratifying that comes with weightless. I have found out that I need to be adjusting myself every few seconds to stop from falling because there is not leverage or traction up here on the moon. It will be hard retuning to Earth because of its high gravity, and it won't be as cool as the moon.

July 21, 1969
Today is mine and Neil's last day on the moon, we have been here for 21 hours and 31 minutes. It is finally time to come home, the two of us are making our walk back to the module now. We might have a small problem with the eagle, while we were walking on the moon the engine arm's circuit breaker had broken off. The engine arm is an essential part to get us off the moon and get home. Neil is trying to manual engaging the engine arm using a pen. Well I cant believe it Neil came through we are leaving the moon to dock with Collins. Now that we are leaving the scariest thing about this mission is not getting home and seeing my friends and family and not being able to enjoy life.

Just got out of Quarantine

August 11, 1969
I have finally gotten out of quarantine, I have been in there for 3 weeks. The reason we had to stay in quarantine was that no one knew if we had gotten any diseases while on the moon. In quarantine all we had for any entertainment was the daily newspaper and a deck of cards. The trailer was small, but big enough to stretch our feet. The trailer was some where around 210 cubic feet or 3 medium sized refrigerators. Our friends and family where able to visit us while in quarantine, but it still was little excitement. The worst part of the quarantine was that we had to file reports of our mission and it was anything but fun.
