Something is funny if you can relate to it and understand it, but is unexpected. There is no real definition of what makes something funny, what one person may be laughing their head of at, another could be cringing. People can make something more funny by their actions, tone of voice, and how the perform the joke. Some examples of this could be The Late Show with Stephan Colbert, his humor relates to present day politics, (Topical Humor) and while his jokes are mostly directed towards Trump, and many people love it, but Trump supporters could find it horrible.
2.) Brain chemistry plays an important role in why we feel the way we feel about other people. And when we feel good things, there’s usually a lot of dopamine involved.
