In the Summer of 2020, the Chickasha Public Library partnered with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to add the program after local foodbanks canceled their summer program due to the pandemic. Recognizing this community needed to be addressed allowed the library, with the help of partners, to handout over 1000 meals.
