         <description><![CDATA[<div>Kings John's Castle is a thirteen century castle located on Kings Island in Limerick City by the River Shannon. The orders where given to build it by King John in 1197 it was completed in the year 1210. The castle was built on the border of the River Shannon in order to protect the city from the Gaelic kingdoms to the west and from any rebellion by the Normans lords from the east and south.</div>]]></description>
