Both are in interstellar space, providing valuable data about the heliosphere. The probes have faced challenges, with Voyager 1 losing one instrument and both relying on diminishing nuclear power supplies.          <title>When Will It End?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Mission engineers are working hard to keep science instruments on the Voyager probes running for as long as they can. The data collected by the two Voyager probes is special and can’t be replaced. With some instruments turned off, the Voyagers should have enough power to work for about a year before the team has to turn off another instrument on both spacecraft.</p><p>For now, Voyager 1 will keep using its magnetometer and plasma wave subsystem. The spacecraft’s low-energy charged particle instrument will keep working through the rest of 2025, but it will be turned off next year.</p><p>Voyager 2 will continue to use its magnetic field and plasma wave instruments for the foreseeable future. Its cosmic ray subsystem is set to be turned off in 2026.</p><p>By following this power-saving plan, engineers think the two probes might have enough electricity to keep at least one science instrument working into the 2030s. However, they also remember that the Voyagers have been traveling through deep space for 47 years, and unexpected problems could make that timeline shorter.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Earth: A Tiny Blue Dot</p><p>Earth is a small light blue dot in this special 30th anniversary version of the famous “Pale Blue Dot” image. This original photo was taken by NASA’s Voyager 1 spacecraft on February 14, 1990, which means it is now 35 years old. Voyager 1 was 3.7 billion miles (6 billion kilometers) away from the Sun. This distance gave it a special view to take a series of pictures that created a “family portrait” of our solar system.</p><p>This view was very important to Carl Sagan and the Voyager Imaging Team. They believed this photo was needed to show how vulnerable Earth is. It reminds us that our home is just a tiny, fragile speck in the vastness of space.</p>]]></description>
