MANUEL JALÓN:

Born on January 31, 1925 and died on December 16, 2011. He was a Spanish inventor. Aeronautical training engineer, and Air Force Officer at Zaragoza Air Force Base, invented the disposable mop and syringe. With the roller bucket and later with the mop, Manuel Jalón managed to improve the quality of life in Spanish homes qualitatively, overcoming the traditional way of cleaning the floor on his knees, since with his inventions he could clean the floor without kneeling ( Cause of knee bursitis and spinal problems) and without wearing hands by bleach.

THE MOP:

The mop is a tool to clean the floor in wet and usually consists of a stick at the end of which are absorbent fringes. The mop is usually understood associated with a bucket provided with a wringing mechanism. To clean the floor, after moistening it and draining it, it rubs against the surface to be cleaned. It is also frequently used to clean spilled liquids.

WHY WAS THE MOP IMPORTANT?

The mop was important because before the women cleaned with a cloth and knees, and now thanks to the mop do not have so many problems of back and clean up standing.

William Higginbotham.
William has born in October of 1910 in Bridgeport, EEUU and died in November of 1994 in Gainesville, EEUU.
William was a physicist who participated in the development of the atomic bomb and the leader of the Instrumentation Division of Brookhaven National Laboratory, created an oscilloscope in 1958, to entertain the visitors during the excursions in this national laboratory, also I was the first president of the Federation of American Scientists.
This man is considered the father of video games because he invented “tennis for two”, the first video game in the world. Creating it was not a problem since I worked on military technology in the Second World War. He used an oscilloscope as if it were a monitor, connected to an analog computer. The game had a horizontal line that was the playing field and a vertical line in the center of the field representing the net. The players had to choose the angle at which the ball came out and hit it like in a tennis match. People played on the excursions and they loved the game, if it were sold, William would be the richest man in the world.
Today, video games have come a long way and have become the favorite entertainment medium of people overcoming music or movies, thanks to William the father of video games.

The antecessor of the helicopter (Leonardo Da Vinci)
Leonardo da Vinci’s sketches from the late fifteenth century were the predecessor to the modern day flying machine (the helicopter). As with many of da Vinci’s ideas, he never actually built and tested it – but his notes and drawings mapped out exactly how the device would operate.
Da Vinci scrawled next to his sketches of the screw-like machine the following description: "If this instrument made with a screw be well made – that is to say, made of linen of which the pores are stopped up with starch and be turned swiftly, the said screw will make its spiral in the air and it will rise high."
Also known as the "Helical Air Screw" or simply the "airscrew", the device was designed to compress air to obtain flight – similar to today’s helicopters. Da Vinci was a big proponent of the many possibilities offered by the screw shape, and he used the shape for other inventions and designs as well.
Da Vinci’s helicopter measured more than 4 metres in diameter and was made from reed, linen and wire. It was to be powered by four men standing on a central platform turning cranks to rotate the shaft. With enough rotation, da Vinci believed the invention would lift off the ground. Unfortunately, due to weight constrictions, modern scientists do not believe da Vinci’s invention would have been able to take flight.
