At the beginning of my project, it will be important for me to use reception scaffolding in order to help my students develop more of an understanding of the topic. One thing that I could do is use a note-taking guide that has all of the vocabulary words that will be used, and the students will be in charge of writing the definitions.

In the middle of my project, I will have to make sure the students know the basic vocabulary terms, and I will need to make sure that they are able to apply the words to real-world situations. To do this, I could make a cause/effect sheet that would allow the students to tell me what the effect would be of a certain economic situation. Ex: The effect of scarcity could be what?

Towards the end of my lesson, and right before my students begin their big project, I will need to make sure they know how they are going to prepare their projects and how they see their finals products looking. In order to do this, I can have my students prepare for me a multimedia storyboard that outlines their ideas and how they are going to create their projects. This will let me see what their plans are, and it allows me to provide the students with feedback to improve their ideas.
