A member of the Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC), John Patrick Bare participated in the JROTC Leadership Challenge and ultimately graduated from high school at the rank of second lieutenant. He subsequently matriculated at Blinn College in Bryan, Texas, where he studied engineering and gained admittance to both the Sigma Kappa Delta Honor Society and the National English Honor Society. He also pledged the campus chapter of the Theta Gamma Fraternity. Since August of 2019, Mr. Bare has been enrolled at Texas A&M University as an urban and regional planning student.
