         <description><![CDATA[<div>The New York Times is an American newspaper based in New York City and is known to be read worldwide and holds a lot of influence on people. It was founded on September 18, 1851 and compared to other newspapers, it has won 125 Pulitzer Prizes and has also been ranked 17th in the world and 2nd in the US. The largest shareholder for The New York times is a mexican billionaire named Carlos Slim. Moreover, The New York Times used to be called the Gray Lady of the American newspapers and this was due to the fact that the sobriquet implied a certain stateliness, a sense of responsibility and the possession of high virtue. The publisher for New York Times is A.G Sulzberger.</div><div> </div><div>Henry Jarvis Raymond and George Jones both founded the New York Times. Both Henry Jarvis Raymond and George Jones were American journalists. Moreover, Henry Jarvis was also a member of the New York State assembly. He was also known as the “Godfather of the Republican Party” because of his contribution to the formation on the Republican Party. </div><div> <br><br></div><div> </div>]]></description>

Chivers incvestigates to the fact United States kept secret of troops being injured as they stumbled upon chemical weapons that Saddam Hussein had built for his war in Iran.<br>2015- 3 part series examining the working conditions and potential health risks endured by nail salon workers which then the New York State enacted a new law to protect nail salon workers.<br>2017- The New York Times surpasses 3 million paid subscriptions, the most in our history and more than any other U.S. publisher. <br>2018- The New York Times surpasses 4 million total subscriptions, doubling the number of its subscriptions in four years.</div>]]></description>
