We started our journey together when you were the room parent in Penny's class where I was student teaching. I had the privilege of teaching your amazing daughter! I remember all the time we spent in the library at Alamo putting together all the kids art strips to go up on the walls for Open House. I still have, and use the clipboard you made for me with the kids' pictures on it. :) Fast forward a few years and you joined the Montevideo staff... I was thrilled to be working side by side with you again in a new capacity! We share a passion for art education, and collaborated together on committees that emphasize it as a core subject. A couple years later, I got to see you work your magic through the eyes of Abby when she was a student in your class. I saw first hand as a parent volunteer your amazing dedication, and love for each of your students. You make each of them feel as though they are the most important, because they are!   Best of luck to you in your retirement!
