Q: This out dated ad was created by group that likely supported the 'big industry' of the US to promote the civic rule of its people to make decisions that betters the nation and its economy as a whole.
Q: The ad uses appeal to emotion by the use of 'bad' consistently to bring some guilt associated to such harmless activities such as car-pooling
Q: This ad expresses a strong point of view to internal patriotism connecting car-pooling's impact to regressing 'BIG OIL', 'DETROIT' and specifically 'AMERICA' (not the bolding).
Q: Today, this article would be scoffed. As its now well known that car-pooling is in fact beneficial and even the dissociation with 'Big Oil' and the auto industry.
Q: An important point omitted is the true good that comes from car-pooling both financially, conveniently, and environmentally.

Q: This piece was created with the intent of making people reconsider the amount of fast food they consume.
Q: The technique used here is the technique of "Respond to Audience." It makes the audience reflect on how much fast food they consume and compare themselves to the guy in the picture.
Q: The lifestyle represented here is one where people consume far too much fast food for their own good. It represents the point of view that people need to lessen their intake.
Q: This piece could be harmful because it could be seen as exaggerating the effects of fast food and make people feel like they cannot consume it at all.
Q: This piece omits people who eat fast food in moderation that are actually quite healthy.

Q: This post was likely created by a person(s) who attempts to enlighten an audience about the unhealthiness of fast food (using McDonalds as a synectdoche to represent the fast food industry)
Q: This ad uses a disappearing approach to help draw in an audience in order to set a further tone for the overall point
Q: This ad attempts to connect specifically to the many critical people who care about their appearance (usually everyone)
Q: Other people can come to appeal this ad to the common to say that an unhealthy lifestyle (as symbiolically expressed here) is related to many factors than just eating fast food to account for.
Q: See Question 4.

Q: This message was created by 'Time Magazine' with the purpose to bring ease to those who worry about the direction that the newest generation has taken to with communication.
Q: This ad uses 'appeal to the common man'n because ironically enough, the cover itself is made of numerous memes.
Q: This time cover does a good job of bringing together the younger generation to the later generation outlet that is 'Time Magazine'
Q: Some people, specifically those of the elder generations, could turn their nose up to such a cover as this. Simply for the principle that Memes are such an informal form of communication and its unreasonable for such a topic to make the cover of such a credible publication
Q: A simple omission would be overall purpose of a meme. Memes are typically intended for comical purposes and some memes simply have no impact other than to just bring a smile to the beholder. Completely diverting from any point at all.

Q: This message was created by a veterinarian with the intent of bringing attention to the endangerment of different animals.
Q: The biggest technique used here is the activation of emotion, as people will see this picture and then read the text that it no longer exists. It is meant to anger people in hopes they will prevent it from happening again.
Q: This only shows the point of view of people who want to help endangered animals, which is ultimately beneficial for people since the alternative is to let the situation worsen.
Q: It is possible that this message could be seen as over dramatic and that it makes a bigger deal out of something than it actually is.
Q: The causes of endangerment are omitted, so it is difficult to tell what should have been done differently to prevent this in the first place.

Q: This message was created with the intent of stopping smoking
Q: The biggest element meant to attract viewer attention is the swastika and comparison between the people killed during the holocaust and the people killed by smoking. It uses "Attack Opponents"
Q: The only message that is portrayed here is one that is against smoking, which turns out to be beneficial in this case.
Q: While there isn't as much room for alternative interpretation here, it is possible that people might take offense to the reference to the holocaust.
Q: The biggest omission is any side from the tobacco industry
