<title>This made me feel mad because its not fair that she never got the proper recognition for her work in science. At the same time I&#39;m sure she&#39;s not the only one that had faced sexism in the workfield but I&#39;m glad she wanted to make more for herself and study science. </title>

<title>It is unfortunate that her work at the time was seen as something that backed up watson and cricks findings despite the fact that her work inspired them and it&#39;s unfortunate that she died of cancer before she had the chance to receive the noble prize that she deserved</title>

<title>I initially recalled that Rosalind Franklin had a major contribution to the development of the DNA model. Before watching this video, I assumed that Watson and Crick simply took inspiration from Franklin, but to my dismay they actually completely stole her discoveries and credit. Despite the overwhelming evidence that Franklin did indeed come to her conclusions first, she was not recognized for her achievement until years after her death. It is also interesting to note that her contributions to genetics and DNA continued to inspire discoveries (i.e viral discoveries in 1982). Overall, this video reminded me of familiar information, but it also brought me awareness of the struggles women faced during Franklin’s time and that she deserves far more credit than what many give her for her multiple scientific discoveries</title>
