In any operation, mainstreaming child protection is necessary. Their protection will be reflected in the outcome, whatever the modality. Mainstreaming child protection can be inexpensive or low budget, but worthy. Child protection mainstreaming is a need not a bonus to an operation.

One interesting thing about mainstreaming CP is that you do not need to wait for another round of programming cycle to do it, you can do it at any point of the programmes by making small changes here and there. This can be a small change in the reception areas or in the outreach forms, etc. You can start it anywhere, any time!
