         <description><![CDATA[<div>A negative effect France had after the Great War (WW1) was that many of the battles were fought in French lands, making many villages, industry's, and landscapes destroyed. Some positive effects France had after the Great War was that the French gained a bit of land back that they lost during the Franco-Prussian war, as well as multiple territories from German Africa, and land that the once large ottoman empire had control of. You can also count the demilitarization of the Rhineland as a gain of land for the French<br><br>-Alsace-Loraine regained<br>-Many acres of land destroyed.</div>]]></description>
