After San Antonio College, I plan to attend Texas State to complete my degree. I chose psychology because it is a science that gives us the insight to understand in general terms the cognitive, behavioral, and emotional development of humans. Since conception until death, human psychology is involved and affected every second through the environment or by choice. I don't have a specific job or career in mind, yet. I do know that helping others who need social services or mentoring those who are lost in addictions, depression, or are hopeless about life is a field that interests me. I want to learn from this course more about this field to expand my knowledge base about psychology. An interesting about me, maybe, is that I am from Lima, Peru, a South American country. But I am also a veteran from the U.S. Army.
