The winter concert was great, we did the absolute best that we could. It was nice to see all the band members perform. Something I could have done was look at the notes and read them more carefully. This is because I keep thinking a note is a different note.

I feel as if we did well, I couldn’t hear the flute section as loud as I thought I would be able to in the first song but I could still hear it.

Overall, I enjoyed our sound and from the audience’s perspective. It didn’t sound as if we made mistakes.

I think that we could have articulated more at certain times in the song because the articulation was good any other time. On Music of Christmas the main part at the beginning sounded good and blended well but the trumpets could have came in better and stronger.

I think we did good on the concert but I feel like sometimes we got to loud and could barley hear the other players.

Overall I think we did good I feel like the precisions were just a little to loud but other than that we did amazing at this concert

First Note: I feel like as a group, we did well. It sounded nice on my end(saxophones), but of course I couldn’t hear the actual sound of the whole band.

Second Note:

When listening to the video, I saw that although it felt like we did good, we did make some apparent mistakes - then again it could just be the audio -. One thing I liked though was the harmony we had on certain songs like Holiday Extravaganze(near the end) and Songs of Christmas Cheer(near beginning, although not sure if it’s this one or the other).

It’s similar to when we played but faster and more coordinated, in my opinion good.

The solos sounded great, the woodwinds and brass had great breath control.

I think we did good with the overall accuracy of the notes my 2 problems is that we didnt do that well on the ritardando and the fermata.

I think we could of had certain parts sound louder than others since some parts of the song were being overplayed and the audience wouldn't be able to hear the overall melody.

The songs sounded good but there's still room for improvement.

I think that our tone was good and I also think that we balanced well considering we only practiced one time as a whole group.

I do think that some instrumental groups were louder than the others and you couldn't really hear them unless you really listened.

Good job on the overall sound most notes seemed to come out correctly, and the phrasing as far a breathing came out great.

It seemed that we were not stopping and playing as Mr. Miles was directing it, maybe we weren't looking up from the sheet-music.

After watching the video there were some mistakes that occurred but everyone had played there part well but sometimes some parts were played too loud so the major ones weren’t heard that well.

1) I feel as though we sounded well. As a group we have improved and that has been reflected in the concert. I could not hear any major mistakes but then again i cant hear it like the audience can. I feel like the recording cant show exactly how it sounded but overall but in person from what i could hear in the back it was done well.

2) Something we have been working all year is style and making sure we sounded full, I think we did well with that at times but it could have been improved in some songs or in general. Another way we can improve is listening to who has the main part and backing down or playing louder when its needed for that specific instrument

I feel as if we did an alright job for this only being our first concert. From what I heard, most notes came out correctly, but not as clear as I expected them to.

Somethings that I think we could work on our breathing because when playing the song "Music of Christmas Eve", on measure 87 my section took a breathe when we were not supposed to which made the first note sound more "full".

1) I feel lie we did pretty good for ou first concercert. I didn't hear any huge mistakes so that's pretty good, but at the same time, if there were any minor mistakes, most wouldn't be able to hear it unless it was in there section.

2) Another thin was that some sections were louder than others. Although it wwas good tone, I feel like they could've dialed down a bit so the other sections were heard, especially if there weren't many people in a certain section.
