When this disorder is being tested you shouldn’t have any xrays done or blood drawn because it is based on your mind set. The doctor or therapist will typically give you a piece of paper to fill out and then evaluate you that way or just by asking how you are feeling lately. Once you are diagnosed your doctor will most likely prescribe a anti depressant and want you to talk to a therapist so you can talk through your problems rather than keeping them to yourself.

When I was in middle school I felt really down and ended up being tested for clinical depression, they evaluated me on how my mood was and what I would do during my free time, I was never put on anti depressants but I had to go to therapy every two weeks and she would ask me how I was feeling, how things were going and how I coped with them. Not only did it help at the time, but to this day it helps because I now know how to express what I’m feeling and notice the signs when I begin to feel down.

The symptoms of an anxiety disorder are; being easily fatigued, being irritable, feeling restless, worrying about a bunch of things at once. Just as having clinical depression your doctor will talk to you and exam you and ask you a lot about you history, they will also see how well you respond in tough situations. There will not be any lab tests to determine your anxiety, you are only able to diagnose through the symptoms you are having.

there are many treatments to anxiety, you can be put in an antidepressant that helps calm down your body, they also will have you talk to a therapist about you will do that quite frequently.
doctors aren’t quite sure how an anxiety disorder is caused but, it causes a change in your brain and behavior and that’s why it would be so easy to diagnosed. They are able to diagnose you by your environmental stress. Usually anxiety disorder runs in the family and is passed down by generations. This DOES NOT mean if your mom or grandparents have it you will have it, if you are feeling fatigue and irritable I would seek help so you are able to control your feelings.
