War is not just confined to the countries involved in the conflict. In many conflicts throughout the 20th and more recent conflicts, there has been international backing for either sides. Unfortunately, this backing is not always legal. This backing can be through the military, through economic support or just charity to help the poor innocent souls trying to survive in these times of  conflict.
