2. The school curriculum has been affected by books being banned because this censorship stops people from having new types of opinions and ideas. It will limit the learning students have because if they aren’t being exposed to new topics and forming their own opinions and discussing these opinions, then it’s harder for them to form their own thoughts without the bias of anybody else.
4. No, it isn’t possible because for somebody to ever propose the banning of a book it means they disapprove of some kind of material in the book.

#2 Response:
I think the banning of books does lead to negative effects in terms of how course material is taught and how certain things can be applied to life out of school. I think it can diminish curiosity/diversity among students learning different views and making connections as well as creating a lack of interest about course work since there would be nothing to relate it to.

Rhetorical Question Response:
The credibility of the writers (one of which who seems to be a historian and an expert on the First Amendment concerning free speech) furthers the central claim by creating a respectable and trustworthy author who the audience can look to to provide correct information to form their stance on the topic of Banning Books. It also helps in this case because it also makes the authors seem unbiased on the subject at hand.

It limits the learning capabilities of students because even if the book is non-fiction, reading is a way of learning, relieving stress, and getting familiar with the grammar of the language. Also some books may entice the readers to look deeper into the subject, which is something that the school’s should be encouraging.
4. Through dishonest and manipulative methods. To ban a book without someone’s opinion getting in the way, it would have to be done in discretion, or making sure that the only people aware of the ban share the same justification of the reason.

1. Yes their are many people who are probably right now trying to ban a book because it does not line up with their religious beliefs or ideas in general. Personal belief for sure has something to do with the banning of certain books.
3. I don't think certain topics prevent an audience to read the book because everyone will read the content that peaks their curiosity. Their is content out their that is not for everyone, only certain people would like that content so to say that the content prevents and audience I don't believe that. Everything no matter how boring or how gruesome, has an audience.

2) Book banning affected school curriculum because it sets limitations on to what topics students or anyone can discover. Most book bans contain controversial topics but these topics can lead to diversity and keep people open minded.
3) I don't believe that content can prevent an audience from reading certain books or books to get made if the content itself doesn't attract attention or it it's something questionable but at the same time it just depends on the person. What might appeal to one might not appeal to someone else as everyone has a different mindset and different things that catch their curiosity. Everyone has a different liking to a certain genre so it just depends on who the content draws in.
