Present: The gallery was moved into the spa in 2013. Now there is Liebig's collection. In swimming room there are provisional exhibitions.

The SPA building was built in years 1901-1902 by Peter Paul Brang. They stopped slumping in 1984 and then they werent used. The gallery was in another building from 1953. In years 2013-2014 she moved to the SPA building, where she is to the present.
The director of the gallery is Jan Randáček and in the gallery were more then 700 exibitions. Now, there is a short-term exhibition: Saudek, Funke, Drtikol. I think our gallery is very inspiration and beautiful.

  The building was built in the years 1901-1902 and it was called spa Františka Josefa I. . It was designed by Peter Paul Brang. The construction was fund by Liberec’s savings bank and realized thru Adolf Bürger. At first it was used as a spa, but in the year 1984 it lost it's purpose.  In the year 1995 the building was sold for 3 millions to a privat owner. Few owners have changed over the years, but without proper maintenance the building dilapidated. 
 In 2005 it was auctioned in a public auction and it was sold to Liberec for 9 millions, than it was repaired to save the building. For many years there was a discussion, “How is the building going to be used?”, “What the new purpose would be?” In the years 2011-2013 the building was renovated to become a new art gallery , the renovation costed 360 millions and it was fund by European fund and Liberec.
  6 exhibitions are exhibited in the gallery, 3 of them are the all the time, they are still and the others change over time. Right now plus-minus, pneuma and no fear exhibitions are exhibited and the still exhibitions are Heinrich von Liebieg sběratel and mecenáš, Na vlnách umění českého umění and Zlatý věk nizozemské malby

They started bulding the renovation in September 2011 and ended in June 2013. For publicion it was  openned in 28. Febuary 2014.
The present:
In the present they are exhibitions, art actions  and programs for schools there. It is opened everyday expect mondays and in thursdays there is free entry for everyone. We were there with school and it was interesting.
