Why I chose these themes:

1. I chose the spy, laser, diamond type (heist) theme because it seems to fit the perfect vibe of the venue with the big open space, lighting, etc

2. The theme and outfits sound like it would be cool with the masks and everything

3. The space/venue also looks perfect for a gallery/art theme with the open space

1. It's something that has high approval rates and it's something classy and fun.

2. It sort of gives people a chance to dress BIG and make it look nice. Some people can also bring their quinceinera dress.

3. I was a big advocate for it last year and IT RLLY FITS considering we can't do outer space.

3: It's inspired by the Harry Potter winter ball and we could take inspo from it. It's something people could know and we have references

Why I chose these themes:

Theme 1: This looks like the place where the diamond is placed in a heist movie. We would place a diamond in the middle as a decoration that could be cool. During a heist, there's usually a ball going on, so it fits!

Theme 2: I think the purple would make a good city walk like when you're walking down Hollywood. It also makes people feel like the main character.

Gallery: This looks like a space for a gallery. I think it could be aesthetic. Because it's spacious and bright enough for pictures we might as well make it look like a gallery for people to take pictures while the darker area could be the dance floor.

2. The venue looks like a castle so it would be fun to do something like a fairytale with gowns and suits.

1. The lighting is very magical looking and reminds me of masquerade balls I've seen on social media.

2. The lighting makes the room look very deep under the sea. We could add neon fish and ocean-life to make the room feel like you're actually under the sea.

3. The movie just came out, so the theme could be considered relevant. The lights on colorful giant candy would look nice.

Theme 1 Reasoning : The northern lights are a beautiful spectacle in the cold northern climates. We could use this as inspiration for a magical, colorful event. And this could be awesome.

Theme 2 Reasoning : Winter Solstice is the darkest day of the year, and the days only get longer and brighter after that. We can use that theme of darkness and light at your winter formal. And it could be dope.

Theme 3 Reasoning : Sparkling frost is pretty much one of the most beautiful parts of winter, and we can use the glitter or sparkles as inspiration for our winter formal. Take sparkle to a whole new level. This could be cool.

1. It fits perfectly with the venue and we won't be having to deal with decorations as much.

2. Same reason as 1. It's also very versatile and anyone can wear what they want.

3. Red Carpet is similar to both 1 and 2. We also don't have to deal with decor as much. People can wear what they want.

I feel like these themes would allow the student body to be creative with whatever outfits they choose for the dance, and it can give us leadership students a fun, difficult challenge to make sure the decorations fit within the theme!
