Indiana Jones takes risks by entering pyramids to find a treasure that will bring him riches. And Nailer takes risks by going into old broken ships in search for parts to sell. Also in hope of one day finding a treasure that would make him rich too. They are both adventurous because both of the characters have to go on adventures to find the pyramid or find the boat. First you have to know that Tool is only half human. And in this book scientists make "people". Sometimes the scientists add an animal to the humans DNA. In Tools case she isn't classified as human, she is a creature. Tool is telling Nailer this because he had just killed somebody and he is feeling very guilty about it. And this is Tool's way of trying to make him feel better by saying that it is what humans are supposed to do. I really like this quote because the author is showing that Tool and Nailer think very different on what just happened. Since tool is a "creature" and has different DNA than Nailer does they have different views on killing and violence. And killing and violence are a very big part of Nailer's life. Also I think this quote changes Nailer's perspective on killing and violence for the wrest of the book. I found this book review on Novelist plus. This is the Book list review  The book review pointed out that Nailer's father is violent and drug addicted and I noticed that it was a day to day problem for Nailer to avoid his father. I agree with the review that the book was action packed. That is one of the main reasons I found the book so interesting. Something that the review didn't mention, but I like is that the way the author showed Nailer making decisions.
