One of my favorites would be 説場 (Setsubun). Setsubun （説場）happens on February 3rd, that is when you would chase away a devil by throwing dried beans at the devil saying “鬼わそと。福和内。 (“ leave devils! Come in joy ”)

The Japanese traditions are very important to me, so that is what I would like to protect from my heritage.

I’m an African American, and my whole family is too! We celebrate a holiday called Christmas. If you don’t know what it is, Christmas is a holiday of joy and presents. Most of my family goes to either my Grandma, or Tee Tee’s (Aunt) house. We celebrate it much like a birthday but with hot chocolate instead of a cake, and a Christmas tree. A Christmas tree is a decorative tree, with red and green light, and ornaments. Some of my family give us presents under the tree, the rest is from Santa. Santa hands out presents for kids that are good, grateful, and hard working. I have a baby brother names Malachi (Ma - La - Kai) and he is very happy, and playful and talkative.
