Welcome to Vietnam! I’m very happy to introduce you to Vietnamese cuisine, known for its freshness, balance, and amazing flavors.

Vietnamese food combines five basic tastes — sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and spicy — in harmony. Here are some of our most famous dishes:

Phở – a noodle soup with beef or chicken, served with herbs, lime, and chili. It’s our national dish and eaten any time of day.

Bánh mì – a crispy baguette filled with meat, vegetables, and special sauces. It shows the mix of Vietnamese and French culture.

Gỏi cuốn – fresh spring rolls made with shrimp, pork, and rice noodles, wrapped in rice paper. Light, healthy, and delicious!

Bún riêu – a noodle soup with crab paste, tomatoes, and tofu. It has a rich, slightly sour broth and beautiful red color.

Vietnamese cuisine always focuses on fresh ingredients, herbs, and natural flavors, making it not only tasty but also healthy.

Thank you for listening — and I hope you’ll enjoy Vietnamese food during your stay!

Good evening, everyone! It's such a pleasure to welcome you all today, especially teachers and students from Sri Lanka! I’m really excited to share with you one of the most beautiful aspects of Vietnamese culture — our traditional clothing. Let's take a look at some of the most famous ones!

Áo dài: the most famous traditional outfit, has been worn by women and men since the 18th century. It shows the elegance, softness, and beauty of the Vietnamese people. People often wear during Tet to symbolise luck, happiness, and respect.

Áo bà ba: The Áo bà ba is a traditional outfit from Southern Vietnam. It represents the gentle, hardworking Southern Vietnamese woman — graceful yet strong.

Áo tứ thân: It’s a traditional costume of Northern Vietnam, especially worn by women in the Red River Delta. The word “tứ thân” (four panels) represents harmony and balance, important values in Vietnamese culture.

Conclusion: Vietnamese traditional clothes are a symbol of our culture and pride. They remind us of our history and make us proud to be Vietnamese. “Wearing an Áo dài is wearing the soul of Vietnam.”

Thank you for listening. I hope that this presentation has given you more about Vietnamese cultures and traditions!
