First, we talked about empathy and how to use it online. It is difficult to empathize online becuase you can't hear the person's voice so it is harder to read their emotions. But it is still important because it can make people happier.

Then we talked about kindness. The diffrence between being kind and empathy is anyone can be kind and you don't need anything. Empathy requires understanding of that person's situation through a simular experience. Then we discussed how to be kind and how it makes others feel.

The last part of today's lesson was making a kindness gram. The goal was to find someone you can be kind to by the end of the day and share how you will accomplish that. Mine was to tell one of my friends that I appretiate them being there for me, and how that makes me feel.
