         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ocean acidification is mainly caused by the carbon dioxide in the air. The carbon dioxide will, over time, dissolve into the ocean causing the ph of the ocean to decrease making it more acidic.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We are causing this to happen by allowing factories to give out lots of carbon dioxide. Nature could solve this problem as trees can absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen instead. But instead of letting nature do its work, we decide to produce even more carbon dioxide while cutting  down the trees that were supposed to help us with this global problem.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The lives of sea life, such as coral, plankton, and shellfish, will be made harder because of this. The shellfish will have problems as they need the carbonate to grow and strengthen their shells; with the ph of the ocean going down it will only make it harder. In some cases it will even start to dissolve the shells after long periods of time.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Corals are not only dealing with ocean acidification but also with the rising sea temperature. The decrease of ph in the ocean will only speed up the bleaching of the corals. Also, not all animals will be able to adapt to the changes of the oceans in time which might be very concerning for already-endangered species.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>By planting seagrass all over the world we should be able to increase the ph of the ocean by quite a bit. The only problem is that we will still be producing carbon dioxide. It will take time for the segreass to fully develop itself and if we keep on producing more, we will only slow down their process of growing and working to increase the ph. Therefore we must also change the way we live and think more about the environment. </div>]]></description>
