Lord God, please bless our Police Force, those who keep us safe on our roads and in our homes. We pray especially for those trained to deal with escalating domestic abuse. Those who see things that no.one should ever see.
Protect those children in homes where there is no love, no food and warmth, only dèep despair which fuels aggression in these troubled times.
We pray for those who deal with the aftermath of mental illness. The Nurses, doctors, paramedics and switchboard operators, who deal first hand with the troubled lives of others. For our Fire Officers who attend dreadful incidents and offer care, skill and compassion.
Lord protect and strengthen these amazing individuals and keep them from all harm.
