The hair was then evenly spread out to allow for an even finish of colour. Styled using the pin curl technique using both directional and the brick method.

After researching finger waves I chose a low bun hair style in order for the waves to be main focus. Whilst creating the waves I found it difficult to get the hair to stay in place but once I'd managed to complete the first wave the others followed suit quite easily. Then using my fingers I curled the hair and pinned the roll into place on both sides of the head. I made a guideline down the parting to the crown and followed this around the head in orange segments, giving a long graduation cut. I then dried and styled the hair using a paddle brush and straighteners.
