Sometimes we tend to think we all have the same values, but that's not true and causes miscommunication. I believe it would help if we had a common language. As in any organization or culture there needs to be a common language to have a greater understanding to work together. Having the guide and common language will bring us closer together. Although I believe in homelessness our vision alters as policy changes and cultural views change.
