Hi! My name is Margit Rammo. I have been working in the field of lifelong guidance since 1998 when was appointed to establish the Estonian resource centre for guidance. I am qualified as Master of Arts in Social Sciences, specialised in Educational Management and focusing on encouragement of innovativeness in educational establishment. During my professional career I have been involved in international guidance cooperation with several European Union institutions and European networks, such as Euroguidance, European Lifelong Guidance Policy Network, CareersNet, Academia, but also beyond Europe, e.g. ICCDPP and IAEVG. My role is to inspire innovation in education and in lifelong guidance among European guidance community - to encourage internationalisation in guidance, and to promote the value of learning mobility abroad.

Academia is one of my most inspiring initiatives - I had the privilege to launch Academia in Estonia in 2000. It is exciting to see how professionals grow and time to time have a personal experience as well. :)

Hi, I'm Triinu from Haapsalu. I have been working in career advice since 2006. My daily work includes various tasks in advising both young and older clients and helping them find the most suitable career. I have enjoyed working with young people, trying to support them in making career choises. Academia is a good opportunity to gain new experience and see how things work in other countries. At the same time, it is an opportunity to share your experiences.

Hi! My name is Ruta Lobanova. I am working as a career conselor. Prior to my current role, I have worked in various positions within the Police and Border Guard Board.

On a daily basis, I conduct both individual and group counseling sessions for various target groups. I thrive on diversity in my work, relishing different challenges and the opportunity to test my abilities.

This year, I successfully passed the career counselor qualification exam. Academia is a excellent opportunity to broaden one's professional horizons and acquire the necessary knowledge for work.

Topics such as NEET youth and lifelong learning are also very common in Estonia. During the study exchange, I look forward to obtaining answers to how to effectively provide solutions to these issues.

Hello! My name is Anu Puulmann and I am very excited to be joining the Academia in the Netherlands already in few weeks. I have a mixed background, I fell in love with career guidance when studying in Denmark and have had various positions in the field from Denmark and Estonia. I believe that a study mobility like Academia is a wonderful way to share experiences and to learn from other practisioners from Europe. Sometimes it is needed to go far to see things at home more clearly.

Hi! My name is Irina Ušanova. I work as a career councellor in Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund in Tartu office. One of my work values is development, so I always choose different opportunities to increase my skills and knowledges and to grow as a specialist and a person. So it is time for multicultural experience that Academia provides. I am here because I truly believe in lifelong learning and enjoy learning process, sometimes I feel that if there was a job where I could just learn and earn money for that, I would choose it. Who knows, maybe doctoral degree will be my next career goal :)

I am founder of startup HappyMe over, where we measure work happiness and well-being in schools, hospitals, production companies, IT firms etc. I have written 7 books about career and work happiness topic. I´m Kristel. I´ve been in counselling field since 2016. I´m a career changer myself. My previous job was in the HR field, but it seems that working with people is my passion. Currently, I work at Estonian PES and I´m as a team lead for career counselors. The purpose of this course? English is not language, that I use in daily life, and as I'll be starting my Academia visit in Dublin on Monday, I need to quickly brush up on my English skills... :)
