This is a twin tomb founded in 1988,Basilica of Amygdaleza, Stamata, Attica.It was believed to be made during the 5th - 6th century.It was ruined between the 7th to the 8th century but they restored this atrifact before bringing it to the museum.

Harry-Block VIII of the west frieze

Depiction of a rider trying to control his runaway horse. This powerful composition occupies the central block of the west frieze, which is possibly the work of Pheidias. It has been suggested that the rider is one of the two Athenian Cavalry commanders.

Nathan: The parthenon frieze

The parthenon frieze was created around the year 440BC. Each block’s length is 1.9 meters, with the remaining amount of blocks, it stretches on for 160 meters.

It was created in 3000 BC and found beneath the Ancient Greek Pyramid. The Greeks, learnt most of it from the Egyptians, excelled in hammering, casting, chasing, engraving, soldering and metal printmaking.

The vase is decorated with a duel scene. A hoplite, wearing a himation around the waist, an Attic helmet and holding a round shield adorned with a wreath, brandishes his spear over his recumbent rival. The defeated man, clad in a short garment around the waist, a leather overcoat or tunic and a dotted hat on the head, is shown in an attempt to raise his sword against the victor.

The inscribed marble grave stele
