There was a big issue with a "crayon thief" in the classroom. And since the students use crayons for many activities, they never had enough for their activities. My teacher gave each student a plastic soap holder box (about 50 cents) to hold their crayons. This has not been an issue since! The students have to complete modules by certain dates. These modules contain the current concepts that they are working on in class. She provides classroom time for the students to complete these. They are also able to complete them outside of the class. She is able to see their grades for the modules so at the end of the 9 weeks she gives the students a grade.
