I and my colleagues were given a chance to explore true Bulgarian culture, try the cuisine and bond with other students who participated in the Erasmus+ Critical and Creative Thinking project. The astonishing architecture and extremely friendly people were able to change my perspective on Bulgaria as priorly to the trip I didn’t have much knowledge of the country. The experiences I gained during it, will probably stay with me for the rest of my life. The so-called "cultural shocks" I exerienced are vast and numerous, from substantial ones like the differences in architecture of the Bulgarian towns, to the smallest, but not less important, like a completely new way to consume ice cream. During this visit I encountered many things that were different from what I was used to, forced myself to leave my comfort zone, and in the end, I learned to love the differences that I encountered.
